Kevin Barstow (06JD) White House, Washington, DC Recently began a new position as Senior Counsel and Special Assistant to the President. Paul Kraus (04JD) 20th Circuit Court Ottawa County, MI Elected as Ottawa County Michigan’s fifth Circuit Court Judge. Judge Kraus serves in the Family Division of the Circuit Court. Kraus' prior work experience includes: Iowa Asst. AG, deputy Holland City Attorney, and Sr. Asst. Prosecuting Attorney for the Ottawa County. Sara Ghadiri (14JD) Chapman and Cutler LLP, Chciago, IL HIAS featured Ghadiri in a recent article, "How an Innovative Pro Bono Program Helps Afghan Evacuees" (Feb. 2, 2023). Chapman and Cutler has a long-standing partnership with HIAS and has assisted 36 Afghan evacuees through the Pro Se+ program.
