An ad featuring three portraits of authors named below and the following text: 中文作家作品中英双语朗诵会。以中文写作的三位作家七堇年, 春树和朱和之将向公众用中文朗诵他们的作品片段。七堇年来自中国成都，是一位著作颇丰的年轻作家。小说家和诗人春树以她的第一部小说《北京娃娃》一举成名，目前在德国柏林从事写作。作家朱和之一直潜心于以台湾历史为背景的小说创作。作品朗诵会之后，观众将有机会和作家们现场互动。作品朗诵会将在十月十八日星期二12点至1点于爱荷华大学图书馆的北门大厅内举行，将向与会者提供免费的午餐。此活动由爱荷华大学国际写作计划，爱荷华大学亚太研究中心，美国驻北京大使馆，保罗和华玲安格尔基金及台湾文化部资助。Individuals with disabilities are encouraged to attend all University of Iowa-sponsored events.
