  • Elin Dejus headshot slide. Agnes in Green, Playwright and Sound Designer. Elin is a third year undergrad studying Theatre and English with a Sustainability Certificate. On the side, they work as the assistant general manager at KRUI and occasionally enjoys music. Agnes in Green is their first full-length play, and they have never had a child before but imagine that this feels somewhat like letting your first child out into the world. It's an amazing thing, and they're thankful to everyone who gave support, feedback, and love along the way. They graciously hope that you feel for this play and remember to tell your friends that you love them.
  • Aimee Townsend headshot slide. Agnes in Green, Director. Aimee is excited to make her directing debut at the University of Iowa. She is a junior theatre major and lives, breathes, and eats theatre. Some of her past acting credits are Lucky in Nothing But Days, Woman in Tender Napalm, Ida in Jarred, Raver in Iphigenia Crash Lands..., and Amy in Mortal Instruments. She hopes you enjoy the show as much as she enjoyed working on it. She encourages you to keep searching for your word.

Olivia is a sophomore studying theatre at the University of Iowa and is thrilled to be making her debut as a stage manager with Agnes in Green! She’s done a lot of backstage work with the university and recently participated in the NPF reading of Tiny Thin Woman Inside. She thinks theatre is just swell and is so thankful she gets to work with it so often.  She would like to thank her amazing cast, crew, director, and playwright, as well as her incredibly supportive friends and family. She hopes you enjoy the show!
  • Ashlynn Dale headshot slide. Agnes in Green, Agnes. Ashlynn Dale is a transferring sophomore double majoring in theatre and vocal performance. Previous university roles include: Nina in The Seagull, Jessie in Night, Mother and The Raven in The Robber Bridegroom. This is her first show with the University of Iowa and she is super excited to be a part of such a wonderful production!

She is excited to be in her second show here at the University! She wants to thank all of her family and friends for being cool beans, and a special shout out to the cast and crew (director, SM, Playwright, Designers, etc).

Ellis Fontana is a sophomore at the University of Iowa studying History and Theatre and is excited to take part in his fourth show here at the University. Past shows at Iowa include Strawberry Fields, Sarita, and The Book of Jonah. Ellis would like to thank all who came to see the show!
  • Travis Siegel headshot slide. Agnes in Green, Abner. Travis Siegel is a first year undergrad in Political Science and History, Pre Law. In addition to his passion for American law and historical knowledge, Travis is a patron of the arts. His theatrical career has rewarded him with meeting the necessary goals to join the Honorary Thespian Troupe in the state of Illinois. While he is not pursuing the stage for his career, Travis continues to perform as a hobby of his and is more than excited to be performing in his first collegiate show. To my family: Dad, Mom, Jared, Talia, Nonnie, and Grandpa, thank you guys for coming and supporting me, love you all. Enjoy the show! 
  • Kasey Theil headshot slide. Agnes in Green, Elaine. Kasey is a sophomore at the university studying English Education and Theatre Arts. Previously she was in Strawberry Fields, Girl: A Labyrinth Dark, and Mooring at University of Iowa. She has also played Sally Bowles in Cabaret, Poppy in Noises Off, and Fiona in Shrek The Musical. Outside of rehearsal, you can catch her working the box office at Hancher Auditorium or serving lattes at The Java House. Shout out to her parents, siblings, roomies, and homies. 
  • Dante Benjegerdes headshot slide. Agnes in Green, Lighting Designer. Dante is a second year Theatre major studying lighting design and stage combat. Previous design credits include Strawberry Fields, Mooring, and The Miracle in Franklin. He is also the current president and founding member of the Fight Inclined Student Thespians (F.I.S.T.). He would not be here without the constant support of his friends and family, and hopes they know how much it means to him. He would also like to thank his stage manager, director, and playwright for putting up with his insanity.
