The Office of the Executive Vice President and Provost and The Department of Spanish and Portuguese present Héctor Abad Faciolince an Ida Cordelia Beam Distinguished Visiting Professor. He will be presenting at 3 different events. The first event is November 1, 7 PM. Iowa CityPublic Library. Rooms A, B, & C. It is a Bilingual Reading. The event will be held in both Spanish and English. The second event is November 3, 2:30 PM. Old Capitol Senate Chamber. Conversatorio. Reception to Follow. This event will be held in Spanish. The last event will be November 4, 7:15PM. FilmScene at the Chauncey. An Evening with Héctor Abad Faciolince. This event will be help in both Spanish and English. These events are sponsored by the Iowa Office of the executive president and provost, the Iowa department of Spanish and Portuguese, The Iowa City UNESCO City of Literature, the Iowa Communication Studies Program, the International writers program, The Obermann center for Advanced Studies, the Iowa City Public Library, and the Iowa International Programs.
