Please join us for an LMC workshop on managing language learning media with UICapture/Panopto and its ICON/Canvas Integration, on Friday, November 2nd, from 2:30 p.m.-3:30p.m., in 120 PH [LMC ITC]. We will introduce UICapture/Panopto, a university supported media management and lecture capture tool, that is integrated with ICON/Canvas, and that can be used to create and manage course media for both instructors and students. This session will focus on the fundamentals of classroom/coursesite integration, while a second session [to be scheduled later in the semester] will provide a more in depth look of some of its additional capabilities, such as Editing, Quizzing and Captioning. We will also discuss some examples of how instructors in the DWLLC have been using this tool for teaching, assessment and research. This presentation and its tools are friendly to all languages offered in the DWLLC. Individuals with disabilities are encouraged to attend all University of Iowa-sponsored events.
